Marie Trintignant comes from Boulogne-Billancourt in France. She was an actress by profession born 21 days after the start of the year '62. She came in front of the cameras when she was a child and only four and it was a film directed by her mom - My Love, My Love. After that she was in 60 other TV shows and other movies, mainly for French speaking audience.

Cesar Awards in France nominated her five times in the Best (Supporting) Actress category in a decade between '88-'98. She went on to win an Award for Best Actress in TV Series/Shows - Victoire, ou la douleur des femmes by Biarittz Int'l Festival for Audiovisual programming. Between the award winning time in '00 and her death in '03, she appeared in 14 movies/shows and her last ever movie was also directed by her mom - Ce qu'ils imaginent.

Her popularity, while she was alive, saw her appear around the world in magazines in France, Germany, US, UK and Australia. On a personal front, both her parents were involved in the entertainment world so it was only logical that she will follow in the footsteps. For a good decade between her 1st appearance until her teens, she left the life in front of the camera behind her - she lost her sibling and this left negative psychological effects on her.

These effects also saw her parent split up. She's been in numerous relationships and has four kids by four different partners. It is her last relationship that sent her to grave early when she was only 41. Violent arguments with her boyfriend led to her being in a coma that eventually killed her. While her partner was found guilty of manslaughter and got jailed for eight years, he got out after only four. Her funeral in Paris, France got her parents together after a long period apart.
